Can iPhones get viruses without a jailbreak?

Hello. I would like to know why the forum says that if you clicked and viewed a suspicious attachment or a link that may even contain a virus, and you do not have a jailbreak, then there will be no virus and malware on the iPhone, although many sites and forums write that it is possible to get viruses or malware?

There is no possible way a virus could exist on an Apple device.

The risk you mentioned has to do with entering your username and password into a scammer’s fake website to prevent account takeover and financial fraud.

Just the act of responding informs the scammer that the random email is "live" and then they share that information with other scammers.

Stay safe by ignoring, reporting and deleting suspicious emails and phone calls.

All the best! 👋🏼😉
