How do I download App Store on my device?

The App Store cannot be deleted from your device unless you are in the EU. There are a couple of reasons why the App Store may be hidden so you cannot see it. The first thing to do is go to the App Library by swiping all the way to the left, then swipe down on that screen to reveal the apps alphabetically. This makes it easier to locate the app and if not there then:

• You may have Screen Time Restrictions placed on the device. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Installing Apps, and make sure it says Allow. If you are part of a Family Sharing plan, then it is the Organizer that will have to allow you to make that change.
• Your device may be managed by a school or work environment where they have restricted use of the App Store. This change can only be resolved by the IT department that is managing the device.

If you device is not managed, you are not in a Family Plan, and not in the EU where it can be deleted, then turn off Screen Time completely at Settings > Screen Time, and scroll to the bottom to Turn Off Screen Time.

You can’t download the App Store, it comes pre-installed on your device and you can’t delete it either.
