This field serves no useful purpose for people who do not believe that people can have their own pronouns just like they can't have their own adjectives. You can’t, but you don’t have to use it. And it isn’t new; it has been there for 3 years.

Hello~ You can’t remove it as it’s build in to iOS. You don’t have to use it however. I enjoy having the option myself.
