Why am I getting only 7 days free trial on my new MacBook’s Apple TV?

I've just bought a new MacBook and I understood that there was a 3 month free trial for Apple TV that came with it. I've logged in and it's only offering 7 days. I've looked at all the troubleshooting and am still perplexed. I've never had Apple TV so I'm at a loss. Any ideas? Thanks.

  • To get the offer for 3 months free of Apple TV+, please redeem on the new qualifying device within the first 90 days.
  • Note that for Macs, users should sign in the to TV app separately first, for the offer button to appear.
