How can I recover my Apple Account without access to my old phone number or email?

No! Your iPhone cannot be accessed remotely. Your iCloud account can be accessed remotely and changes to that would be reflected on your device. Some people confuse that by thinking it is their device that is being accessed and that is not true.

For example, when using iCloud Photos, a person that has access to your iCloud account can delete and add pictures to iCloud, and those changes will be reflected on your device when the data has synced. It certainly is NOT your device that is being accessed remotely making those changes.

For access to your iCloud account, you are going to need the email address associated with it. You can reset the password without the phone number using Account Recovery, but you will still need to know the email address.

Apple can only offer tips to help you find your Apple Account email, but honestly it is not useful if you do not have another device using that account.

Without that information, you have been given the correct recommendation to create a new Apple Account.

Yes unfortunately your phone can be access remotely. Apple doesn’t like to talk about it but I don’t care anymore myself. If you don’t have any really major ties to your old iCloud for things like subscriptions or even photos my suggestion would be just to start an entire new iCloud with your new phone number.

Nope, that is not true. You cannot see your Messages when signing into the iCloud website. The same is true for your Passwords and Safari data that also has an iCloud option in Settings. You would need a Trusted Device to view any of that information and it is not accessible on the website.

Messages are end-to-end encrypted and can only be viewed on device.

The answer is kinda yes! I thought the cloud was just extra storage but…. depends what you have synced to the cloud! If someone got access to your iCloud password they potentially could view all your e-mails, text messages, notes, pictures when they sign into your cloud online if you have it toggled for those things to sink to the cloud and have ‘access cloud data on the web’ toggled on. So basically it’s like they have access to your phone from a different location. I dislike the cloud for this reason!

Thank you for the reply. Why is ‘Messages’ listed in the “Saved to iCloud” section then with the option to toggle on and off? I was under the impression all things listed in this section SETTINGS>ICLOUD could be viewed by signing into iCloud on the web?
