How do I transfer Apple Watch data to a new iPhone without resetting?

I’m trying to transfer my Apple Watch and data to my new phone I have currently got a iPhone SE 2020 and I’m want to transfer it to a new iPhone 16e but I ideally dont want to reset it but if I absolutely have I will.

You will have to unpair your watch from the old iPhone, but this will create a watch backup, that you can use to restore your data.

But, since the watch backup is part of the iPhone backup, you will have to restore your new iPhone from that iPhone backup of the old device first, and then pair the watch to the new iPhone.
