"Malware blocked" pop up won't go away, I've tried methods mentioned in the community but it still pops up

I have tried removing shaddy files from the three folders that are frequently mentioned in the community. It has worked before and I thought nothing of it. This time though the pop up didn't go away. I have tried booting up in Safe Mode yet still got the pop up in Safe Mode. I am seriously perplexed. Are there any file in here that I overlooked? Thanks.

The 2 that stand out to me are:

  • com.apple.dandan.plist
  • com.apple.enthinge.plist

You should start up in Safe Mode first, then drag those to the Desktop to confirm the message goes away on restart. If all is well you can then drag them to the trash. I do not recognize either of those as legitimate Apple Launch Daemons.

You can also use EtreCheck and post the report using the Additional Text option if that does not work. It will have additional information about each launch file that may tag it as Malware or even Not Signed. The app is free to download and does not contain any personal information.
