Question about battery replacement and problem that followed.
Had my son's iphone 12 pro max replaced via Assurant/Tmobile insurance ($100 deductible) 10 weeks ago. The iphone they provided had 81% battery health. My son wanted a new battery so he took it to the Apple store and he paid the $99 to have a new battery installed. Fast forward two months and the same iphone will not turn on, not charge, nor show anything on the screen.
Should I take it back to genius bar or file another claim with Assurant (another $100). The Apple store is a bit of a trip away. Besides get a new phone what would you advise? TIA
