phone out of warranty now
should I go for new battery from Apple service centre or original product from local repair shop ?

Only get the battery replaced by a authorised apple service centre. If you go to the local repair shop, you will keep getting battery not original message.
Repair from apple better if you do a repair from other store they might not put the waterproof seal any may damage your device so I recommend repair from apple official because they will put the original waterproof seal and do a good job
