I’m trying to create a new iCloud mail id. I don’t have one currently. I searched it up and it told me to go iCloud.com/mail to set up an id. When I went there it says that iCloud mail was not available for my account. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

If you’re having issues, it may be caused by poor internet connection or your Apple Account is Locked or Disabled: If your Apple Account is locked, not active, or disabled - Apple Support.
I suggest trying to create the address on your iPhone by going to Settings> [Your Name]> iCloud> Mail> enable. It should prompt you to create a new address.
