Updated to iOS 18.5 and after recording a video, it is not playing automatically if you open it straight from the camera (bottom left corner while the camera is still open).
It would always play automatically and now it has stopped.
Anyone knows how to fix it or is it just the new iOS glitch?

Apple appears to have intentionally disabled auto-play for video previews. This change might be to ensure consistency with photo previews, reduce accidental playback (especially for longer videos or in quiet settings), or perhaps as a precursor to new media handling in iOS 18 aimed at conserving resources.
If This is a Bug: While unlikely, if this is an unintended issue, Apple would likely address it in a future update (e.g., iOS 18.5.1 or 18.6), mentioning it in the release notes.
