Why is my iPhone autofill showing a customer service number instead of my phone number?

when filling out a form, lately my iphone 16 is suggesting 800-676-2775 as my phone number, in Autofill

apparently that's an Apple customer service number, what happened to filling in my own number??

Go to the Contacts app on your iPhone. · Tap My Card at the top, then tap Edit. If you don't see My Card, tap the Add button · Enter your contact information.

Add or edit your contact info and photo on iPhone

I don't know how or why this happened, but that card with the phone number for Apple customer service was labeled as "my card" !! I didn't even know there was such a thing as "my card" in contacts; I've had a contact card for myself for a very long time and autofill was always working correctly, until recently. So there's some disconnect between the My Card info and the card I had set up with all my info.

My solution was to edit "My Card" (in Contacts on my iphone) and fill in all my personal information (and obviously put in my phone number instead of Apple customer service!), then delete the card I have had for many years.

I don't know why the macboook Contacts does not have something called My Card. Very confusing. But hopefully this issue will not happen again.

Check that the card labeled "My Card" has all your info. Good luck with resolving your issue.

this reply is completely misleading - My Card shows that phone number as "Apple Customer Service for Orders" - THIS IS NOT MY PHONE NUMBER! How is that even "My Card" ? What am I missing here?

I have a contact card with my name and all other relevant information, which has been used numerous times for Autofill, correctly. I have only recently gotten this Apple customer service number appearing in Autofill. And it's only on iPhone, not on my MacBook.
