How do I get a Photos album to be accessed by others

I would like to have an album in my Photos app available to family members. I'd like to post info about the album to a family Facebook page with a link to enable members to access the photos in the album much the way it's done in an app like Dropbox. Instead of sending someone the whole album containing 50+ pictures.

How do I do that within Photos?

Mac mini, macOS 12.7

You can't share normal Albums with others, but the Photos ecosystem has a separate entity called a Shared Album that can be used as you describe. You would use the Public Website sub-feature if you want to post a link somewhere rather than have Apple manage who gets to access the photos.
