Since I did the 18.5 update the phone freezes everytime I open mail, it’s ridiculous I have to keep restarting the phone, my wife has the exact same issue, I have a IPhone 13 Pro Max and wife has a 13 pro
any advice would be welcome

Was having same issue. Spoke with support and they advised to do a force restart of device. For my iPhone 13 Pro that’s a quick press volume up, then quick press volume down, then hold power off until Apple logo appears then let go. After restart mail work g fine - been 4 hours. Hope works for you guys too 😀

I’m having the same trouble. It’s getting really annoying because I’m unable to access work emails in a timely manner.
One problem after another with 18.5 on my iPhone 13 Pro. This started a day or two with mine. Today seems especially bad. Power off-on does not provide a permanent fix.
Unfortunately, turning off notifications failed after about 18 hours. I’m back to the same problem and required another reboot.
I have 12 pro max and have the same mail app issue with not loading and freezing. I have done the force reboot each day and it works until the next day. Driving me crazy. Help?

My solution still working btw - I suspect it ‘may’ be due to I Cloud Private Relay

Might be a bit OTT … but the Engineers at WWDC25 are actively requesting your questions right now; maybe one of them knows the answer.

Yes, force quit buys you most of a day without freezing but it’s back the next day.
Worse, it froze Safari today.
Apple - we need a patch!!!!! Or take us back to 18.
