Where do screen recordings go when set to messenger?
Recorded a 3 minute phone call on facebook messenger audio with the setting in screen record set to “messenger”. (When you hold down on the screen record function, it gives a drop down menu. I selected messenger just so that we could see what it does exactly). When the call ended, there was a pop up dialogue box that stated the screen recording stopped because the call was ended. I checked my videos on my phone and it was not there. I panicked for a moment and thought I may have accidentally went live but could not find anything to suggest that I had. I read that the options are for where to save the recording but, I have no clue where the recording would have been saved within messenger.
