How do I get back current versions of my Yahoo-synced notes?

I have several Notes and Lists on my iPhone 11 that are synced to Yahoo. My Yahoo login credentials expired a few months ago, and since I reconnected to that account, those Notes and Lists have reverted to old versions from January 2024 (which was long before my credentials expired). I looked at the Notes in my Yahoo account directly, and they're the old versions.

It looks as though reconnecting my phone to my Yahoo account caused the iPhone to overwrite the versions on the iPhone with the (somehow very old) versions from Yahoo. This is obviously stupid, undesirable behavior, and I'm hoping it's not actually what happened.

I've lost some critical information with this reversion to old versions of my Notes (and Lists) and need to get back the versions from, ideally, yesterday. What can I do to get them back?
