Weather app GUI prevents its use...

Is there any way anyone has found to tweak the GUI for Apple's Weather app?

I have set my system/overall GUI to dark mode to look after my eyes, but the Weather app's rainfall map is impossible to see - all I can see if shades of dark grey and darker grey - see screen grab here.

Any suggestions/solutions welcomed.

Can Apple keep some of the DarkSky screens? Apple Weather app is still not as quick to interpret as DarkSky. DS is largely visual and a glance provides for very quick decisions. The Apple Weather app requires the user to “read” the weather.
