Why does my screen time record more than 1 app

I probably fell asleep, and I had my phone near me. When I woke up, I found my phone recording screen time of more than 1 app concurrently, even though I did not open them. For example, screentime reset at 12am, and I have probably only had my phone on for 30min, but it has already 5 different apps' screen time, so waht's up with this?
