red light on AirPod case even though charged at 80%

Got my AirPods today. Out of box when check the light was red . So charged it to 100% both case and AirPods fully charged. Then used until about 82%. And when keeping them back at 82% the red light was on , is this a defect?

Apple Airpods Pro 2 are charged to 100% but are drained after 4-5 hours of listening I bought new airpods Pro 2 and noticed that after full charge they last only about 4-5 hours, both pods and case. Is there something wrong with them and should I get them replaced?
