Wallpaper photos won’t pair on iPhone

When I try to change the wallpaper on my iPhone, the option to pair the picture on the lock and home screens doesn’t work. The Home Screen picture has to be changed manually. The ”Pair” button is highlighted, but the picture doesn’t pair.

Hello!

That is how it’s supposed to work. Your Lock Screen photo is the “lead wallpaper”. So you pick a Lock Screen wallpaper, then you can either pair the Home Screen wallpaper with the Lock Screen wallpaper by pressing “pair,” or you can tap on “photo” and give Home Screen its own Wallpaper.

But it’s not the other way around. You can’t pick a Home Screen wallpaper, then have it appear on the Lock Screen by pressing “pair.”

Let me know if you need further clarification. Have a great day!
