How do I resolve UPI app registration issues on iPhone 16?

i have recently moved to iPhone 16 and none of the upi apps are getting registered. I tried phonepe, gpay, Amazon upi, yes pop. Verification message stage is failing. Can someone help me

Even icici bank mobile app is not being registered aa it says that SMS verification has failed. It is not a bank issue but a phone or setting issues. I have put the location as India and have reset the network setting and wifi and phone network are working fine.

SMS is a service provided by your carrier (phone company), and it stands to reason that SMS verification would only work if it is supported by your phone company.

If it isn't working, the logical conclusion is that

You failed SMS verification, or
SMS verification is not supported by your carrier, or
There is some problem with the SMS service provided by your carrier

This is something you need to resolve with your carrier, or perhaps, your bank. As far as I can tell, the UPI apps, and the iPhone, are simply the bearers of bad news. "Shooting the messenger" will not be productive, and will not allow you to make or receive UPI payments.
