Is iPad 2025 good for reading books and comics?

Both the regular iPad and the 11" iPad Air have the same aspect ratio.

In general it should work fine. But will depend on the App you are using to read comic books and the orientation.

In iBooks for instance you can read it in landscape mode and get two complete pages with no black bars and the text bubbles have a good font size.

You can rotate to portrait, and get 1 full page with a sliver of the other page you can slide to see and better size of text.

If you’re looking for something mainly for reading comics i would definitely recommend the iPad mini. They feel very portable and as an added bonus it has apple intelligence so those emails you were talking about will sound so much better. But another suggestion is trying to ask an expert. They will give you the best feedback.
