How can I forward a text message to another phone number using Messages on my iPhone SE?

This ought to be easy. I am told to go to the message on my iPhone, and touch and hold the message and "More" will appear, whereby I tap the forward button, enter the recipient(s), and tap "Send". But on my phone w/iOS18.5, "More" does not appear. I only see "Pin", "Mark as Unread", "Hide Alerts", and "Delete".

I DID read your post. If you are NOT opening the message first, you won't see MORE. OPEN THE MESSAGE, then press hard on it.

You're welcome, I think. Did you get it to work? If you don't open the actual message first, then press hard on it, it just won't work.

Open the message you want to forward. Press hard on the message till you see More. Now look in the lower right hand corner of the screen and you'll see forward arrow. Tap it and enter the recipient you want to forward the message to.

Apple explicitly says

Go to the Messages app on your iPhone.

Touch and hold a message bubble you want to forward, then tap More.

I did that. It didn't work. No one ever told me to OPEN the message first. What is a message bubble, anyway? Thank you for your more careful explanation.
