Charged for Apple TV+ without my consent

This morning, I received an email showing that I’ve been signed up for Apple TV+, and I’ve already been charged. I did not sign up for Apple TV+.


Last night, I saw a thread on X where people were saying to go watch the haptic trailer for F1. Out of curiosity, I opened the Apple TV app on my iPhone, clicked “not now” on the pop-up, and watched the trailer. Then, I closed the app.


are you telling me I’m being charged $10 to watch a fricken trailer now?! Why was I charged without my consent?


please cancel my subscription and issue a refund immediately.

This is a user-to-user forum. You are not addressing Apple here.

None here can make any changes to your subscriptions or your account, but you can.

which would direct you to the subscription overview for your Apple Account, where you can cancel subscriptions that you do not wish to continue.


If you have a subscription that was started accidentally and unintentional, and have been charged for that (not a free trial period before being charged), then you may request a refund. Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support. This is a separate step from the above cancelation.
