My iphone 13 earpiece is sounding muffled when on a call,only on calls,not necessarily on the dial app,instagram and any other calling service also,it sounds good on apps or when listening to music

I truly doubt it's a software issue. Sauces and electronic parts are NOT good friends. You need to follow the correct advice Carol B. gave you and schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation and service options.
