Dark spot on photos taken with iPhone 15 Pro Max (main camera)

Hi everyone,

I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and I recently noticed a dark, circular spot appearing in photos when I shoot something with a plain background (like a white sheet of paper).

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

I cleaned all camera lenses thoroughly with a microfiber cloth

tested all cameras (ultrawide, main, and telephoto)

The spot only appears when using the main camera (1x)

I’m attaching a sample photo where the spot is clearly visible.

Do you by chance use lens covers on your camera? If you do, take them off and try again. If you don't that could be an issue with the sensor on your camera.
