How do I create a group chat with 30 people who use both Android and iPhone?

I would like to create a group chat with 30 people. I’m reading this is impossible. Is this true? It stops at 20. Is there any way to get around this? There are iPhone and android devices. Help!

When Android devices are involved, that means you must use SMS and that is a carrier provided service limited to 20 people. Apple has nothing to do with that. For Apple devices using iMessage instead of SMS, I believe the limit is 32.

You may be able to use a different messaging app, but it won't be one using SMS.
