If you're looking for anything higher than the highest version of iOS 15 (currently iOS 15.8.5) then you can't update your 7 Plus. It is not capable of being updated to iOS 16, 17, 18 or 26.

What is IP? Do you mean iOS? If you have an iPhone 7 Plus as your profile indicates, it cannot update to iOS 17.

Are you trying to download an app from Brother? More than likely, you don’t need an app to be able to print. See About AirPrint - Apple Support for more information. The article lists compatible printers as well as instructions on how to use the built-in printing functionality, no app required.

That is correct. Your iPhone 7 Plus will never receive iOS 17 – as you could have easily learned from multiple sources, including the existing five pages of this thread.

You can only update an iPhone 7 Plus as far as the latest release of iOS 15 - which you should do if you want iMessages and FaceTime to work after next January.

This is also an old thread, seeking iOS 17 for some unspecified app.

There is presently no way to newly get to iOS 17 with any iPhone.

iPhone 11 and newer and iPhone SE 2nd and newer mentioned will all now get offered iOS 26, while the titular iPhone 7 will get none of this, being forever limited to iOS 15.

This thread largely still exists to repeat the answer “no” for the iPhone 7 folks seeking iOS versions past iOS 15.

TL;DR: iPhone 7 is supported with iOS 15, and no later.
