Dated June 18, 2025. My iPhone 13 Pro Max suddenly turned white screen while I was using it. I cannot receive/hear any notifications anymore. Is this the infamous white screen of death? Could this still be just a hardware issue or the phone itself? Thank you.

The operative word here is QUICKLY for the first two buttons, then a long hold for the SIDE button; and try it a couple of times, the timing is a little tricky. If done correctly this will always work unless the phone has a hardware problem.

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store.

Already did this two times now. I was met by a white screen instead of an Apple logo.
