I have followed the instructions for turning off control centre access from my Lock Screen but I can still open CC from the Lock Screen. can anyone help?

Settings > Face ID & Passcode > Control Center OFF (under the “Allow access when locked” section).
If you’ve done this already, could it be that Face ID recognized your face and unlocked the phone? The phone will stay on the Lock Screen until you swipe up, but once Face ID recognizes you, then you will be able to access Control Center. But rest assured, no one else would be able to due to Face ID.
