My touch ID disappeared on my new iMac with the M4 chip. When I go to touch ID & password all I see is a button to change my password which do not want to do. I'm up to date with all updates. It was there this morning. Please help.

Have you tried restarting?
If that doesn't work, try booting into Safe Mode then restart normally. Sometimes that will fix anomalies.
I know you probably know this but just as a reminder remember a computer restart is the first step of troubleshooting a problem. If the problem persists after the restart then do a Safe Mode restart and then restart normally and test again. If the problem is still there, please post and we have more advanced tools to try.
