Apple 4k tv won’t stream when connected to netgear orbi router. I can open apps like Disney plus, Amazon prime video and see videos but once I select a video to watch, it won’t play. Hook up to my old router again, and everything works as it should so it is most likely a router issue. It is hard wired to the routers. Reset when connected to a different router to allow network settings to update via DHCP

how you go about changing them would be in the configuration of the router it's most often a webpage the router give you access to one some local ip-address, some router manufacturers also have ios apps to configure their routers.
I found my problem, it was on T-Mobile’s end. They had streaming blocked.
So following your first list, I have ports 53, 80, 123, 443, 3689, and 5353 open to my Apple TV, still no luck playing any videos. I’m sure it’s just a port that needs opened yet as everything else works just fine. Trying to play a video from Apple TV on my laptop top yields the same result, a black screen.
