Unable to connect Ring camera to 2.4 GHz network

What is the make & model of your wireless router that is providing your 2.4GHz wireless network. Some routers do not allow you to separate the 2.4 & 5GHz bands with their own SSIDs (aka, network names) which will thwart IoT devices that can only connect to the 2.4GHz band.

Ring has specific requirement for connecting to a WiFi network depending on your model. They will not work with a Hotspot which may be what you are trying to do on your network. You can get more help from Ring Customer Support here:
