How can I manage iPhone predictive text suggestions?

I type out “President Trump in my IPhone more than any other President. But I have NEVER had Trump suggested when I type President. Does IPhone exclude Trump’s name from predictive text?

I just tested on my iPhone running iOS 18.5 and, on typing 'Trum" at the first of a sentence, iOS capitalizes it automatically and suggestions shows "Trump" with a capital "T":

However, "trump" was used as a verb or noun in the game of bridge long before the current POTUS was born. If I type "He played his trump card," I do not get the capitalized suggestion:

So I must assume that, when you type "trump" after "President," you won't get the capitalized auto-suggest. I tried typing "President miller" and "President chase" and did not the suggestion for the proper noun for either.

I do not see this as a manifesto or jab, but simply the expected outcome when a common verb or common noun is similar to a surname derived from another language†. Predictive text can't do every combo o f word and place of origin.

Is there something I can do to fix it?

Yes, while it won't fix predictive text, you can use Text Replacement. Go to Settings>General>Keyboard>Text Replacement, and you can create a shortcut to type out Trump. I use it to enter a word I use a lot in messages, but the iPhone always believes it is spelled wrong. Using a text replacement, it does not check it as wrong.

I did, and none were suggested. I even typed out President Trum, and it didn't suggest anything. I typed president trum and it suggested Truman. I tried other president last names and it never suggested or predicted anything even when using several letters of their last name. I don't see it a thing. It almost seems as though it doesn't want to suggest surnames.
