What to do If USB-C headphones fail on iPad and iPhone?

All of a sudden, my wired USB-C Apple headphones stopped working on both my iPhone and iPad. I tested the headphones on another device, and they worked fine. I also bought a brand new pair of the same headphones, but they don’t work on either my iPhone or iPad.

Force your iPhone to restart:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
  3. Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo (this might take longer than 10 seconds).

If that doesn’t help, then I recommend service.
