Some or all of the security here has been compromised by the perpetrator.

Probably starting with your passcode compromised, and with stolen-device protection disabled, or with familiar places enabled.

Pretty much all passwords are now known too, or are best assumed to be known, if the perpetrator is inclined.

Seemingly something that could be interpreted as a violation of trust, of security, and quite possibly of applicable local laws, combined with issues of communications. And those communications issues? You’re asking us, and not asking the perpetrator directly. This is all fodder for a discussion of expectations with the perpetrator. If not a status change from boyfriend to ex-boyfriend.

Also make SURE that all of your trusted numbers are indeed REALLY “trusted.”

or on your phone in Settings -> Name -> Sign-In & Security -> Two-Factor Authentication

Otherwise your BF could be receiving your 2FA Authentication Codes to assist him in accessing your account.

And NEVER EVER let your BF gain access to your phone or know your passcode (which you should change as well)

AND Reset your FaceID (as he could have enrolled his face to give himself directly into your phone.)

I suspect that you're mistaken and he does actually have your password. To be absolutely certain, change it.

Your BF knows your Apple ID and Password.

Do you and your boyfriend share the same Apple Account? If you, he can read your text messages and if you want, you can read his. DON'T share an Apple Account with anyone.

Along with changing your Apple Account Password, it is also a good time to change your Device Passcode.

I'm glad you said this, as it's likely what we've all thought. Clearly there are trust issues in the relationship and that is completely outside the bounds of any advice we can offer. I do hope the Author is safe.......
