How to turn off RCS on a text message

On one group text message it says: Text Message + RCS and had 5 small red lines on far right. It's some kind of recording. How do I turn it off?

To turn off RCS on iPhone, follow the steps that follow.

Settings app> Apps> Messages> under the Text Messaging section select "RCS Messaging"> then toggle off RCS messaging.

Well, I turned off RCS and MMS Messaging, and only Send as Text Message is turned on. I still show the 5 red lines and now it says Text Message + SMS. According to the article this should have cleared. And I did power reset the phone. Thanks.
