I have a 15" 2018 Intel Macbook pro and would like to connect a 15″ Apple Studio Display (15-inch flat panel) to it can someone please direct me to where I can purchase the right connector or setup to accomplish this. It would be a shame not to use this display.

The key is that the Studio Display uses a Mini DisplayPort input, and your 2018 MacBook Pro sports USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 ports. So you'll need a USB-C → Mini DisplayPort adapter—not HDMI. Apple doesn’t make one, but reputable third-party adapters should work—however, be aware that full 5K support won't be available (as you'll be capped at the Studio Display’s native resolution).
Thank you for your direction. I am not concerned with the native resolution, as this monitor will be used for reading and composing text. I with start my research for an adapter, however, if you know who makes these adapters that would be appreciated.
Attach closeup of the end of the cable that would typically plug into video port at the back of an Apple G4.

That connector is a DVI-I Dual Link ... so you would need a DVI-I Dual Link to USB-C adapter. I suggest that you do an Internet search and you should find numerous options for this kind of adapter.

So I found my DVI to ADC adaptor ... now I only need an adaptor that connects to the circled connector in the attached image to connect to my 2018 MacBook Pro.
