Apple TV stuck in recovery mode with unresponsive remote
My Apple TV suddenly entered recovery mode and I can't use the remote to select the reset or restore option.

Find your Apple TV model number - Apple Support
First try a cold restart, by temporarily disconnecting from power. In some cases, that will bring it back to life.
For models A1625 or earlier, you can try to restore by connecting to a computer.
For models A1842 or later (“4K”), you are advised to contact Apple for service.
