Is your charger plugged into a grounded outlet? I've seen this when someone uses either a defective charger or has their phone plugged into an ungrounded outlet. One person posted a photo of their phone plugged into a power strip which was clearly held together with tape and they were getting an electrical feeling on the camera button, which completely went away when they used an appropriately grounded outlet.

if it was me then I would test with another cable and ac charger

even with fast charging the volts should not be high enough to feel if it leaked out into the case,

so unless it's just statics then it could be 110/240 volt AC leaking and that would be a serious hazard

Your iPhone 16 Pro Max is still under factory warranty. You should take it to an Apple Store or authorized Apple service provider for examination and diagnosis.
