I am getting a message that says “ the folder contents could not be displayed because of an unknown error” when I’m trying to open up a folder on my iCloud Drive.
when I tap the try again button, I can see the folders for maybe one second and then I get back to the original screen stated above.
What can I do to access my files again?

The heading says “not displaying on I Phone,” but it’s my iPad where I am getting that message. When I open my Files on my phone, I can see and access my files and open them. It’s just easier to use them with my iPad.
My phone and IPad are not totally synced. My files on my iPad are in folders and my files on my phone are not.
Are you seeing that issue when you open the Files app on the phone?
No I can see all my files on my phone. I’m wondering if it’s a storage issue?
If you can see the files in the files app, when are you getting the error message? When you try opening/downloading?
