How to remove ex's email from Apple Account and prevent data sharing?

My ex while we were together and got into my phone and managed to change settings in my Apple account. He added his email to my Apple account so he could log into my back up and see all my phones data and usage. He wanted to make sure I wasn’t cheating. But I deleted his email from my Apple account but my phone still sends my information to his email. I tried to open a tinder account and it sent the verification email to his email instead of mine. I don’t know why because I deleted his info from all my accounts. Why is this still happening and how can I change it?? Is there a chance he can see more than just my app info? What did he do to my phone??

It sounds like your ex may have added his email or even set up forwarding in your Apple ID or email settings, and just removing the visible email might not be enough.

He could’ve linked his info through things like iCloud, Mail, or even set himself as a trusted device. That’s why stuff is still going to him, even after you think you’ve removed him.

To fully break the connection, you'd want to change your Apple ID password, set up two-factor authentication (if it's not already on), and review every place your Apple ID is signed in.

Check for any forwarding rules in your email, too. Basically, assume he still has access, and reset everything—Apple ID, email, and even app passwords. And yeah, if he had full access, he could’ve seen more than just app info, things like messages, photos, locations, backups, etc.

It’s also a good idea to contact Apple Support directly and explain the situation. They should be able to assist in walking you through checking for any lingering access.
