Removing previous user's email from iCloud account on iPad

Two or three years ago, my sister gave me this phone as a present. When I created my new iCloud account, I noticed that there was someone else’s username and email, but it didn’t bother me until recently. At Tomorrowland, I bought an iPad for my studies, and now I can’t use some applications because it asks for verification of that unknown email, which I can’t access.

I already wrote to that person’s email, but I’m not sure if they will read it. I would like to ask how I can remove this person’s account from my iCloud so that I can use my iPad completely and freely. (I can provid you with my IMEI and serial number because unfortunately I can not find my recipe I found only my box)

it is not clear whether you are talking about the iPhone you say you have had for several years, the iPad you imply you bought recently, or both. In either case, we cannot help you to remove the registration of a previous owner.

If this device is associated with the ID of a previous owner, you won’t be able to remove the registration without their help - help which they apparently are not going to give.

Apple will not help you remove the previous owner’s ID. The IMEI, the serial number, and the box will not help you. Even a receipt for a second-hand sale would not be acceptable proof that you were the true owner and that Apple should clear the original owner’s ID.

Note that the original owner could mark the device as Lost at any time, locking you out of it completely. If this is a device that you bought second-hand recently, see if you can return it to the seller.
