How can I remove Activation Lock from AirPods purchased from a local shop?

Dear Apple Support Team,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing to request your help with my AirPods, which I purchased from a local shop. Unfortunately, the AirPods are still linked to another Apple ID. Because of this, I cannot connect or use them with my own iPhone.

I have the original box with me but I do not have the purchase receipt. I can share the serial number and any other details you need.

Could you please help me remove the Activation Lock or unlink the AirPods from the previous Apple ID so that I can use them with my own account?
