Accidental ChatGPT subscription charged to the wrong OpenAI account – refund not possible

Hello! I’m looking for help regarding an accidental subscription made through the App Store. A ChatGPT Plus subscription was purchased on my iPhone by mistake and was linked to an account that I do not use.

I canceled the subscription soon after, but when I tried to request a refund through the usual method (reportaproblem.apple.com), the system said the purchase is not eligible for a refund.

I contacted the app developer (OpenAI), and they confirmed that all refunds must be handled by Apple. However, I haven’t been able to reach Apple Support directly — all options redirect me back to the refund form.

I’m not using the subscription and would really appreciate guidance on how to reach someone at Apple who can help with refunding an accidental in-app purchase.

Thanks in advance!

You can't make an accidental in-app purchase.

Purchases require that you physically approve them. A screen shows you what you are subscribing to, how much it will cost and requires that you double-click the right side button to approve the purchase.

Apple's refund decisions are considered to be final.

This is an example of the purchase screen.
