Suspicious "Apple Account information updated" email

I got an email from Apple but I know it’s not Apple. Message states:


Your Apple Accountinformation has been updated

Dear ApplePay BTC Paid for 469. 99 USD for Dispute Call 1 *********3. ,

The following changes to your Apple Account, ******@icloud.com, were made on 2 July 2025 at 09:10:50 GMT:

Shipping Information

If you did not make these changes, or if you believe an unauthorized person has accessed your account, you should change your password as soon as possible from your Apple Account account page at ***

More information the email was to another email address. But came to me?


From: ****@I**.apple.com

To: *********@icloud.com


i know this isn’t real please make sure others don’t get scammed.

Yes, that is a scam.

This is a user to user forum, you are not addressing Apple here. We cannot make sure other's don't get scammed.


You can forward the email yourself to reportphishing @ apple.com. it helps Apple identify and deal with these scams.
