iCloud.com Web Apps not mirroring dedicated apps

I am a solid Apple ecosystem user and personally have every device Apple makes. The ecosystem works well for me. However, at my office, we have to use Windows machines and therefore I find myself using iCloud.com daily. And for the most part it works well for what I need. The only problem that I find in my daily use is that all of the features that I have on my phone or ipad don't work in the web app. Primarily, I would love to be able to see the highlighted colors, or the indent etc.. I often have the note highlighted etc from my phone or ipad, but when I reference it on the web app.. I can't identify my notes as well.

Can you tell me if these features are coming anytime in the near future?

It’s great to hear that you’re deeply integrated into the Apple ecosystem and also actively using iCloud.com in your daily workflow.

Unfortunately, as of now, Apple hasn't publicly announced any updates or timelines for bringing full-featured note formatting (like highlighted colors, text indents, or inline styles) to the web version of Notes on iCloud.com.

That said, Apple tends to roll out iCloud web feature upgrades quietly alongside major OS updates (like new versions of iOS, iPadOS, or macOS), often in the fall. So while it’s possible they’re working on better formatting parity for iCloud Notes, there’s been no formal confirmation of that yet.

If Notes formatting on the web is critical for your workflow, you might consider submitting direct feedback to Apple here:

Feedback - iCloud - Apple

Apple does read and track user feedback for improvement, and hearing from power users like you can help shape the priority of these updates.

In the meantime, using the Notes app on a Mac (if you ever have access to one) would still provide the full feature set.
