How can I rename my Voice Memos on iPhone?

I believe I opened every setting trying to title individual recordings on my [iphone6] but I could not find an option for titling my memos.

plus I asked seri & got no results.

please 🙏 can someone please text me @ “5******1?”

OR~Please email me @ “br*********3@gmail.com?”

with instructions?

Im trying to leave memos for my children & grandchildren to hear upon my passing.

Hello!

Open the Voice Memos app. Then tap once on the recording you want to label, and you will see it expand. Tap again on the title, and the whole thing will be selected, and the keyboard will appear. Tap backspace to delete the default title, type your new title, then tap return on your keyboard when you’re done.

By the way this is for iOS 18. Not sure if it’ll work like that on a device running iOS 12. But give it a shot regardless.
