PC Games – This VPN is actually malware
This article says that there are malware installers out there that are disguised as installers for Chrome and LetsVPN. The article does not say that LetsVPN itself is malware, but it notes that "LetsVPN is a China-based VPN service."
If LetsVPN is actually China-based and therefore potentially under the thumb of the Chinese Communist government, that might be a reason that I would not want it on my iPhone. But then, to each, their own.

First off, your question is unclear.
The OP wrote "LetsVPN purchase." It appears that this is a reference to a service called LetsVPN.
Secondly, why do you want a VPN? I wouldn’t suggest it as they do not offer the increased security and privacy as they advertise. They rather sell your data to advertisers
Some have been caught doing that. Because you're sending all of your Internet traffic through them, they're in a perfect position to see what sites you are visiting, mine that data, and sell it to advertisers.
and more because the connection between the VPN server and your iPhone is public and not secure.
The connections between the VPN and the sites that you visit will definitely be public.

Secondly, because they mask your location, there are all sorts of connectivity issues that occur.
Just pick a sketchy vendor, and send your all of your network metadata and all of your personally-identified web purchasing activities and the rest to them directly.
Seriously. Pick one, and send it all.
You know you want to have no privacy.
You know you want added overhead.
And you know you want routing issues.
You definitely want others using your same network connection for who-knows-what, too.
So just send everything to the sketchy vendors directly, and save the money on the VPN purchase.
No, you don't actually. Using a VPN to access the internet does absolutely nothing to secure your data or protect your privacy.
