App store on iPad still asking for password of deleted account to update apps!

I needed to switch accounts on an iPad; it had a child account on it. logged out of the old account and logged in with the new one. I also had Apple delete the old child account completely, as it was no longer needed. That process completed, and it's no longer showing in my family list. But on the iPad 10, we have not been able to update any apps, it keep asking for the password to the removed child account that is now deleted. How do I get it to switch to the new child account that is now signed in on the device?

Apps are forever tied to the Apple Account that downloaded them. Since you have now had the account deleted, those Apps can no longer be updated, and must be deleted from the device completely, and redownloaded with the new Apple Account from the App Store.
